The Prefect's Pages: A TWST Fanzine is a FREE fanmade zine themed around smaller, slice-of-life scenes in NRC school life that aren't included in the main story.The zine is formatted like Yuu's journal, where Yuu records everyday events at NRC and keeps special mementos from their friends. The content will be styled accordingly (writing-wise: journal entries, class notes, letters to and from characters, short fics / art-wise: polaroids, photos, class doodles, page arts).We only plan on releasing a digital PDF at this moment in time, and we're hoping to later work on a version with accessible formatting. We're also releasing digital merch like emotes, profile pictures, a phone wallpaper, and more!
Would it stick to the canon info or have some headcanons?
Headcanons are allowed! We didn’t want to limit people in how they choose to portray their versions of the characters, and canon info about what NRC is like off-screen is pretty limited anyway, so of course we’ll be making some stuff up. Think of it as additions to the canon.Will there be an interest check aimed at contributors soon?
Is there a way to join the zine as an artist at this time?
We've already got contributors on board! You can see our lovely artists and writers get some love on our social medias, where there'll be spotlights posted for all of them.How many pages will it be? Is there an estimate?
We originally planned for ~26 pages, but it's looking more like 60 pages now thanks to our wonderfully hardworking contributors :)Are you going to be including ships in your zine?
No, we want to keep it targeted towards general audiences.Is there going to be one consistent Yuu throughout the journal?
No, part of the appeal is that the artists all have their own take on who they see Yuu to be. Whether that's their own fanmade Yuu or the manga canon Yuus, each Yuu has the potential to have different interactions with canon characters, and we want to give space for that creativity.Is it really free?
